Playtesting session

After a few months polishing our prototype and mainly, redesigning several aspects of the game where we thought there was a big margin for improvement, we have field-tested it once more.

The last 18th of March we took part in a playtesting session, organized by Digipen Institute of Technology Bilbao in a space provided by VE Interactive, together with other local studios such as Kaia Studios (Dynasty Feud) or Delirium Studios (Unforgiven VR) in which students from Digipen also presented their projects.

First of all, we would like to thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate and everyone who came to play for your help testing our game and for giving us feedback so we can improve. We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we did!

The session was a complete success, we are at full capacity for most of the 4 hours it lasted. We organized 2 vs 2 games, after which, players would give answer our questions about their experience through a survey.

Once the session was over, we analyzed all of your answers, which mainly served 3 purposes:

  • Validate once more our game concept and check that people who try it out are still enjoying it.
  • Verify that certain design changes that we want to implement generate interest and that we are moving in the right direction.
  • Make sure that certain parts of the prototype that we consider improvable / changeable, are indeed in need of a rework.

We hope to take part in other similar events in the near future and show you some new mechanics or game elements in every one of them!

Thank you everyone! See you in the arena!
